We come from a civil engineering background - a discipline whose entire ethos, we believe, revolves around rational decision making. Yet our experience was that decisions are often made based on convenience or tradition rather than rigorous evidence. That contradiction is what started KOPAA.
KOPAA comes from the Latvian word for "together." That's how we aim to work with our clients - embedding in their projects, working through the hard problems with them, and bringing the kind of data-driven decision making that standard design tools leave on the table.
